Background/History: Note: this entry covers all light side choices in the consular's main story. These are the choices I am going with.
The Force - The Force in the Star wars universe is a power that exists in the universe but only those who are 'force sensitive' can hone. Being a Jedi, Kilander has the use of the force Kilander can use the force in a variety of ways that most Jedi are capable of using. He can telekentically push, pull, lift, and throw objects or people through the use of it (ex. lifting people out of an burning inferno to safety). He can use it to trick or persuade the weak minded to give information or do what he wishes them to do (ex "telling someone to walk away from a fight without question and they would do it"). Kilander can use the force to enhance his physical capabilities, improving his speed, reflexes and strength beyond what a normal person can do (IE deflecting laser blasts with just his light saber, sprinting faster, leaping great heights.)
With the force, Kilander can use it to sense and feel things, be it in others or to sense impending danger or a disturbance in the Force itself. He can be warned of a potential threat coming at him but it's only noted as a subtle unease or disturbance. He can't predict who will do the harm just that harm would be coming.
Other than the basics of Force, Kilander is also trained as a Jedi Sage. This allows him to protect and heal others. Either putting a temporary barrier around himself or a chosen person or healing someone of critical injuries in the matter of moments.
However, it is said that at a very young age of four, Kilander had more control over the force than his master did at fifteen. Even time and time again showing how adept and powerful he is with it (managing to blow open a gigantic hole in a blast door with a movement of his hand). In away he's far more powerful than the average Jedi. He can even create a mini like earth quake with the force knocking over and damaging his foes.
Shielding Ritual - Having learned a ritual to shield the minds of others, Kilander can protect others from corruption that would effect the mind from the dark side (potentially even from other forces too) at the expense of his own strength. The more people he shields the weaker he gets. The ritual has been known to kill the user if they reach their limit. The ritual however, cannot undo mental damage done by torture or having been 'broken' by such means. IE if an outside force is making someone go insane by whatever power, Kilander can use this ritual to break the connection and restore the person to their original self, he just cannot undo someone snapping and going insane from being physically abused. The limit in which Kilander can use this ability and not die is unknown, but in total he has used it 8 times (Twice on the same person) and did not expire. The creator of the technique was able to shield an army's worth of people before he died. So, Kilander could potentially shield a good amount of people before he would die. He can regain his strength however if the person causing the mental corruption is killed (however, Kilander only managed to get around this by shielding the plaguemaster in his story and cutting the evil spirit off from Parkanas and regained his strength regardless) but this was due to the way the plague was caused and spread.
As a Jedi, Kilander is trained in the use of a lightsaber. It's essentially used as a sword and Kilander can use it to attack or defend himself. A light saber can cut through most any object, being extremely hot (As it is a blade of pure plasma). What it cannot cut, it can usually deflect or block (As in cases with blaster shots being able to bounce these beams back at others or absorbing force lightening). It is almost always fatal when struck down with a light saber, but if someone isn't killed by it they can be badly burned by it (ex. the blade can severe a person's arm instantly and cauterize the wound. It's best just to dodge.) Otherwise, Kilander is essentially a trained swordsman, being able to wield this blade effectively.
